Internal Sales Administrator

Based in Willenhall

Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am - 1:00pm

£15.59ph - £17.15ph (DOE)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing business for an Internal Sales Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service and playing a key role in supporting sales growth.

You'll be a strong communicator who can confidently engage with customers and colleagues alike, ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry through to after sales support.

Full training will be provided on the company's in-house systems.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely, professional support.
Prepare and follow up quotations, product information, samples and sales correspondence.
Support the external sales team with customer requirements and business development activities.
Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services to existing customers.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering outstanding service at every stage.
Update and maintain CRM records to ensure customer information remains accurate.
Process sales information accurately and efficiently across internal systems.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth flow of information and order progression.
Support the resolution of customer queries, returns, credits, and product issues.
Assist with opening new customer accounts and maintaining account records.
Work closely with the finance team where required, including payment related queries.
Provide market and customer feedback to management.
Contribute to forecasting, reporting, and general sales administration activities.
Continuously develop your product knowledge and commercial skills.

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A positive, proactive and professional approach.
Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
Comfortable working as part of a team while managing your own workload.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with CRM systems, order processing software, EDI, or business intelligence tools would be advantageous but not essential.
Previous experience in an internal sales, sales support, customer service, or account co-ordination role would be beneficial.
