Title Housing Support Officer

Contract Length - 6 months

Rate £19-£22 Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

Provide housing-related support to service users
Support clients to maintain and sustain tenancies
Carry out risk assessments and support planning
Liaise with external agencies, local authorities, and support services
Assist clients with budgeting, benefits, and independent living skills
Manage caseloads and maintain accurate case notes
Respond appropriately to safeguarding and welfare concerns
Conduct property visits and welfare checks where required

Requirements

Previous experience working within housing support, supported housing, homelessness, or tenancy services
Strong understanding of safeguarding and vulnerable adults
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage challenging situations professionally
Enhanced DBS preferred or willingness to obtain one
Full UK driving licence beneficial but not essential
