The role of CDM Principal Designer:

Limit major and all CDM-related risk during the design stages
Ensure clear communication for effective handover to the Principal Contractor
Work closely with the in-house design team to mitigate design risk across residential and care home projects including large-scale towers and mixed-use HRBs

The ideal CDM Principal Designer:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a CDM, H&S, Principal Design, or Design Risk Management role
NEBOSH Construction certificate or a relevant Level 3 equivalent H&S/NEBOSH certificate

Architecture practice with expertise in the residential and care home sector.
