As a CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator, you'll be trusted to programme, set and run CNC lathes using Fanuc controls, producing precision machined fasteners to tight tolerances.
You'll be expected to hit the ground running.

There's a busy order book and the team need an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator who can prove out programmes, solve problems at the machine and keep production moving without someone looking over your shoulder.

If you've programmed Fanuc-controlled lathes and have experience machining fasteners or similar precision turned components, you'll feel right at home.

As a CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator, you'll be:

Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
Working from engineering drawings to produce precision machined components.
Proving out programmes and making improvements where needed.
Checking your own work and maintaining high quality standards.
Taking ownership of your machine and keeping production running efficiently.

This isn't really the right role for someone looking for extensive training.

They need a CNC Lathe Programmer Setter Operator who already knows their craft and enjoys getting stuck straight into the work.

If you're currently programming CNC lathes, you'll probably recognise yourself here:

You can programme directly at the machine using Fanuc controls.
Engineering drawings don't phase you.
You enjoy problem solving and getting programmes running efficiently.
You take pride in producing quality components first time.
Experience machining fasteners or precision turned components would put you at the front of the queue.

£19.00 per hour plus £1.00 per hour shift allowance.
Monday to Thursday, 2.30pm to 1.00am.
