EYFS Teaching Assistant - South Birmingham

Hours

The role of EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Supporting pupils across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Helping create a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment
Supporting children with additional needs including Autism (ASC), Speech and Language difficulties, and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)

The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Hold a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working within a school or nursery setting, either in a permanent or supply capacity
Passionate about supporting children within Early Years education
Up-to-date Safeguarding certificate (Prospero Teaching can provide this free of charge if not completed within the last 12 months)
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply for one
Two professional references relating to children

Opportunities available across a range of welcoming Primary and Nursery Schools across South Birmingham, with a start date of September 2026.

Contract type: Temporary, ongoing.
