The role of Quality Manager:

Lead site-wide quality performance and embed right-first-time principles
Manage internal, external and supplier audits, ensuring ongoing compliance to ISO 9001
Support APQP activities including PPAP submissions, FMEA and control plans
Own customer concerns and NCRs, driving robust 8D and root cause investigations
Develop supplier quality performance through SQA activity and continuous improvement initiatives
Drive KPI performance, report trends and lead cross-functional improvement activity

The ideal Quality Manager:

Has a proven background in a senior Quality role within manufacturing or engineering
Has experience within automotive, aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries
Has strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, SPC and structured problem solving
Is confident leading audits, customer interaction and supplier development activity
