Pay: £47,000.00-£55,000.00 OTE

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
Birmingham

£17.50 per hour based on a 39-hour week (£35,490 basic salary)

Overtime paid at 1.5x (£26.25 per hour)
Call Out Rota (1 in 4)
Company Vehicle, Mobile Phone & Laptop

Realistic OTE: £47,000 - £55,000+

We are currently looking for experienced Field Service Engineers to join a busy and growing operation across Birmingham and the East Midlands to work on our client's fleet of Generators / Back Up Power.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with experience within the generator, plant hire or heavy mechanical industries looking to join a well-established business offering strong earning potential, overtime opportunities and long-term progression.

The role will be predominantly field-based, supporting customers across your region, with occasional yard/depot-based work where required.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on generators both on customer sites and within the depot
Fault finding across control panels and AC/DC electrical systems
Mechanical and electrical repairs
Genset synchronisation
Participating in the out-of-hours call out rota, including bank holidays
Liaising directly with customers and maintaining strong working relationships
Completing daily vehicle defect reports and ensuring company vehicle roadworthiness
Completing all associated paperwork including service sheets and PDI documentation
Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company guidelines
