Hours

Full-time and day-to-day supply available, term-time only

The role of Teaching Assistant:

Support pupils in class, small groups and 1:1 where needed
Aid access to learning through positive behaviour and engagement strategies
Encourage independence, confidence and social skills
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Help maintain a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment

The ideal Teaching Assistant:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
Experience supporting children in a school environment, ideally with additional needs
Confidence in supporting behaviour and engagement
Patient, adaptable and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Valid passport
Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
