Quality & Environment Advisor

Altera Recruitment Group is partnered with a well-established UK industrial energy business operating across multiple processing sites, supporting critical low carbon infrastructure and long term environmental performance across the sector.

This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to step into a broader group-level role, where you will have real visibility across several operational sites rather than being tied to one location. The position offers a good balance of autonomy, site engagement, and influence, with direct involvement in environmental standards, compliance improvement, and supporting operational teams across the business.

Responsibilities of the Quality & Environment Advisor include

Support site teams with environmental compliance, audits, and day to day quality and environmental matters across multiple locations
Maintain and improve environmental management system documentation, reporting processes, and internal records
Produce monthly environmental KPI data and assist with internal and external reporting requirements
Provide practical support during audits, regulatory visits, and compliance related site activity
Deliver guidance and training to site teams while supporting wider group improvement projects

Requirements

Previous experience in environmental, quality, HSEQ or compliance within an industrial, manufacturing, or energy environment
Good working knowledge of audits, management systems, and environmental legislation
Confident communicator able to work independently and build relationships across site teams
Strong organisational and reporting skills with good IT capability, particularly in Excel and Office systems
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to operational sites when required
